1. Day: Flight from Europe to Mexico-City (ca. 14h), LH / AF/ KLM / TA
After your arrival at Mexico City Airport in the late afternoon, you will be welcomed by your

3. Day: Teotihuacan Ancient Pyramids- Puebla (includes 250km/3hrs. drive)
Tour and visit to Teotihuacan – The city of the Gods (Including the Pyramids of the sun and the moon). Full guided tour to the ancient city of gods. We will visit the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent, Quetzalpapalotl Palace, walk through the Avenue of the Dead, other smaller pyramids and the museum. As a private tour, you can visit the place you want or skip it, everything on your own pace. Time to have lunch in the restaurant you like: Snacks – short lunch around 2:00PM.
Prepare to walk around most likely under the hot sun.
Transfer from Teotihuacan to Puebla.

4. Day: Puebla and Cholula (includes 30 Km, 45 min drive)
Two historical jewels of Mexico: Old village of Cholula with the world-largest pyramid and in case you didn’t know: with a catholic church built on top of the pyramid. Puebla Downtown (World Heritage) with the Zocalo and the Cathedral.
With nearly 500 years the oldest town in Mexico, Puebla is a city full of history and famous architectural, cultural and religious sites. Late lunch in Quinta Real, (top choice for genuine Puebla cuisine with the famous salsa called “Mole Poblano”

5. Day: Transfer to Oaxaca and Visiting Oaxaca (includes 350 km/ 4,5 hrs. drive)

9. Day: Boat travel on Canyon de Sumidero ( includes 350km/ 4 hrs drive )
Upon arrival in Tuxtla, transfer to the dock where we will board the boat and begin our tour of the Canyon del Canyon del Sumidero with its huge walls up to 1000 meters high. Canyon del Sumidero is one of the deepest canyons in Mexico. The cliffs on both sides of Río Grijalva are up to 1000 meters high. During a boat tour you can see beautiful nature, crocodiles, monkeys, turtles and much more. Transfer to the hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas

10. Day: San Cristobal de las Casas – Chamula and Zincantan ( includes 50 km/ 4 hrs drive )
Visit to Chamula and Zincantan: Located in the highlands of Chiapas, Chamula is one of the few autonomous communities in Mexico with a surprisingly high proportion percentage of indigenous people approximately 99.5% of the population speaks an indigenous language. Visit to a church where a combination of indigenous and Catholic rituals: the shamans heal the community’s ailments under visions of visions of Jesus and the Virgin Mary and the surrounding forests are said to be full of spirits. If you are particularly spiritual, you are in the right place. Visit of Na Bolom House and a famous weekly market in town where you can buy textiles and local handicrafts.

11.Day: Transfer and Visit of Palenque, ( includes 200 km/ 4,5 hrs. drive)
Visit the famous archaeological site of Palenque, Mexico’s most famous ruins of a Mayan city dating to around AD 600-800 Set amidst dense trees, Palenque still evokes the wonder the early Spanish visitors must have felt when they first came across the ruins. The prehistoric city and national park have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

12. Day: Yaxchilan-Palenque, (includes 250 km/ 4,5 hrs. drive)
Yaxchilan Tour – Hidden ruins of the ancient Mayan city in the jungle
Our next tour will take you to another archaeological site, not a UNESCO World Heritage Site this time, but still impressive and beautiful. The Mayan ruins of Yaxchilan are located on the border between Mexico and Guatemala on the Usumacinta River. The Usumacinta is the largest river in Mexico and the longest in Central America. Yaxchilán’s unique location on a bend of the Usumacinta River makes it special. It can only be reached by boat, there is no road. The arduous journey is rewarded with a fantastic jungle tour – have you ever hiked through overgrown ruins and seen packs of primates hanging in the trees and the loud roar of howler monkeys?
